Nutrition Solutions

For most women, the hormonal shifts during menopause cause symptoms like hot flashes, insomnia, weight gain, muscle loss, bone loss, infertility, depression/anxiety, and fatigue. These symptoms can lead to serious illness later in life. A woman's risk of disease nearly triples from age 40 to 60. Yet, most healthcare providers do not educate women on their changing bodies and changing nutritional needs, or provide answers as to why what used to work stops working.

Your body is changing, and you have to change with it!

Our program provides a holistic solution by offering personalized expert nutrition education through courses, classes, and one-on-one sessions. With a mindful, body-positive approach, 'Pause Well arms women with research-based knowledge, proven health behavior change techniques, and a lifelong sisterhood of peer support. Let us help you achieve your wellness goals and thrive through menopause.

'Pause Well Mission

'Pause Well aspires to empower women to optimize their health during and after menopause by providing targeted nutrition education and actionable strategies that reduce symptom severity and disease risk, preserve body composition, and enhance quality of life.

The Science Behind 'Pause Well

'Pause Well is grounded in the well-researched Health Belief Model Theory. Studies show that most women are confident that they could stick with a behavior change if they believed it would benefit their health and wellness. 'Pause Well builds on a woman's innate self-efficacy by educating her on the health risks associated with menopause and the benefits of research-based nutrition science and strategies. In addition to providing nutrition education, we help participants overcome barriers to dietary change using proven behavior change techniques like peer support, mindfulness exercises, and cognitive reprogramming.
